Passing Announcement 7/5/20 Kerry Larcher and Hayley Clayden are so sad to announce the passing of our wonderful Mum Iris Larcher after a short and private battle with a rare gall bladder cancer. In late Feb mum was in hospital for a couple of weeks as she was suffering from Jaundice. She had some stents put in and her health improved and she has since been at home with her partner John pottering about the house & sunbathing in the garden. When Mum received her terminal diagnosis, she chose not to tell anyone else for a few weeks so we as a family could get our heads round it. However Cancer had other ideas with mum being taken very ill just a week ago. It has been so fast but she did not suffer, was not in any pain and died peacefully at home with us girls and John by her side early this morning. So tonight we clapped extra loudly tonight for the Saint Francis hospice at home, District Nurses and Marie Curie team who’s support has been amazing in the last few days whilst between us we provided the 24 hr care Mum needed. Sorry if this has come as a bit of a shock, we really thought that we had a bit more time with our special, one of a kind Mum. XXXX
